Dial Gold Antimicrobial Liquid Soap - 4 Gallon Bulk Case for Hospitals, Gyms & High-Traffic Areas

This is the same Dial liquid anti-bacterial hand soap that I've been using for more than 25 years. It works very well in hard water, leaving no trace of soap scum or residue. The scent is mild and pleasant, not perfume-like or overwhelming.Dial's product is the only body cleansing soap I've found that can be used to clean eyeglass lenses with anti-reflective coatings, leaving the lenses completely free of spots or streaks. It's effective on most organic fats and oils as well as human sebum.Now the bad news:These one-gallon bottles don't have tamper-resistant seals. Because not all of the bottles' caps were screwed down tightly enough to prevent the product from leaking, there was some loss of contents within the box. That might not be an issue if the case happens to stay right-side up during its entire journey, but you can't count on that happening every time.Although the price per unit of volume of soap in this quantity is excellent, the wasted time and hassle of cleaning up a mess has negated some of its value for me. The next time I need to buy Dial anti-microbial liquid soap I'll probably go to a Smart and Final or Costco Business Center rather than ordering on-line.On the other hand, now that I have almost four gallons of the stuff I probably won't need to buy any for at least 10 years.The Amazon product photo indicated that the antibacterial ingredient was triclosan, but when I received my product, the antibacterial ingredient wasn't triclsoan, it was Benzethonium Chloride. Hopefully it'll work for my needs otherwise. Buyer beware.My only complaint is that the soap leaves a greasy feeling during rinse. It takes a bit longer to get rid of the sensation.Who checks soap to see that it's not defective?I opened up this bottle of Dial, only to find that unlike the five other gallon bottles we've bought, this one poured like loosely-set Jello. Plop, plop, plop, it didn't pour smoothly. It also sat on top of the remaining Dial I had in a bottle. Unfortunately, the 30 day return period is over by two weeks, so we're stuck with this defective product.Note: I'm trying to use it, but it doesn't have the "consistency" of all the other Dials I've bought. I'm very unhappy I can't get my money back. If I'd returned it two weeks before, I'd be getting a refund/replacement. Why not now? Will never buy from this vendor again.My wife and I go through a lot of liquid soap for various reasons. We also have at least one teenager living at home which helps make the soap vanish quickly. I was thrilled to have found this in this size and in a case lot. The price of hand soap by the quart is absurd and it is getting harder to find…all I can find are the smaller refills. In addition, the soap is wonderful…gentle on the hands but made in an antibacterial form that is perfect for this year's flu season. Great soap at a great price, and they deliver to my door?I have been using Dial antibac soap for more than 20 years. In the last couple of years, I have noticed the big refills disappearing . . . first from the shelves of my membership warehouse store . . . then from my favorite big box store . . . then from the other big box store . . . frustration! I hated buying smaller refills by the dozen. Then I had the idea to check out Amazon, and BINGO! Here is the exact same product, for a much better price than I had been paying. Love this product. Arrived quickly, with no spills or leaks.I prefer a stronger soap but the wife likes this one because it does not make her hands itch. So we give it 4 stars. The only reason I knocked off one star is that it's hard to find and expensive when you do.Great soap but leaking all over.I had to put them in the tub and wash them off.They forgot to seal the tops with the little plastic coated foam pieces.
