I placed the bar in the shower when it ? arrived. The wife thought something was burning in the bathroom. ? The price was good. I like the fact that I can shower with this from head, hair, beard to toe. The scent dissipates quickly quickly from your body and the bar as it dries. The lather is great even with our well water and the bar doesn’t melt away or turn soft, like an some other bar soaps I’ve purchased in the past. One note if your changing to a bar soap from shampoo products you may need to rinse your hair with a little apple cider vinegar a few times, it helps to remove the junk that the shampoo leaves behind in your hair or you hair will feel kinda mucky. I’ll finish up with a little coconut oil with a dash of essential oil for my hair and beard. If you have itchy flaky feet this soap will cure it. Use it daily with a small scrubbie. After about 2 weeks you will see your feet look and feel so soft and nice, no more itch. The soap smells a little piney but it's fine. It dissipates fast. Also good for getting rid of Athletes feet. Can also be used for other skin ailments to calm the itchiness.I am 29 weeks pregnant and my skin has been so itchy the past few weeks. I had all the tests at the doctor to rule out anything bad, but I still itched so badly that I scratched until I bled (yes we are continuing to monitor). BUT, ever since using this soap, the itching has decreased soooo much to the point that I only itch occasionally. This soap combined with oils and prayers have almost completely stopped the itching (I think it's mostly the prayers but this stuff is awesome and certainly helped!). It is a life saver! I used in all over at the end of my shower--I use the bar directly on my skin, coating the itchiest places especially thick then rinsing off with warm (not hot!) water. I follow up with essential oils and cocoa butter, and my skin feels and looks amazing! The only downside that I must warn you about but you should NOT let it stop you from buying--you WILL smell like a forest after you use this! My husband says it smells like what his papaw use to use on wounds and called "black salve". The smell is unlike anything I've ever smelled and it definitely pretty funky...BUT it will stop itching and you can easily cover the smell with oils/lotions--so no problem!\**If you are itchy, please mention it to your doctor and request a liver/bile salts test. As long as you itch, with or without a rash, request one every time you go in. If your doctor won't perform this test, find a new doctor. You may have a serious condition that is very treatable but needs to be caught as soon as possible! You walk into a pine forest, towards a gurgling stream. You can tell that a family of beavers must live nearby because their handy work on the pines is obvious. It is then that the dusky musk of pine tree sap hits your nose. Your congested sinuses clear up for the first time in ages. As you breath more easily and clearly then you have in recent memory you come to the realization that this is where we humans are freest. No noise or light pollution, clean crisp air, the beauty of nature all around. As you enjoy these wonderful sensations you close your eyes.........and when you open them you are still standing in your shower in your small apartment in the city. Getting ready to do the daily grind again.......Decent but def strips oils from skin and hairPine is a pretty easy scent to distinguish. So easy that the word Pine is often used to describe scents of other things that are not Pine at all.I’ve purchased several different brands of pine tar soap over the years, some great, some mediocre. But THIS one… Well, when you open the box they shipped it in you’ll see it’s been sealed shut in a plastic pouch so nothing escapes. While you take a look at the sealed bag, you have a quick thought pass through your mind that there might be a house or brushfire nearby… but you don’t give it any more thought. In your excitement to smell your new soap, you open the bag and are immediately greeted with the overpowering, room filling scent of a house fire. A better way to imagine it, would be to think of a time an old clunker car passed you while spewing exhaust fumes. That is the scent of this soap.Oh…Don’t leave the box in one room and take the bar to another room… that will make it worse. Quickly move it to the shower so it can slowly creep through your house and permeate all cloth, carpet and fabric items on it’s way back to you. It knows you’re going to throw it away and it wants you to go down with it. At this point you’ll realize why it came sealed in an air tight plastic bag… it’s so whoever sent it to you could limit their exposure to this thing. This thing should literally only be used as a prank. When it lathers, it smells like a real campfire. I, for one, like that. Once the lather rinses out, the scent doesn't stay. Which is also good.I mean. Who wants to walk around smelling like an arsonist?Anyway, I digress. It is a really good cleaner, too. It washes out (amongst other things) motor oil, cooking oil, latex paint, sewer sludge (don't ask), and every day dirt. And, yes. Those are all from experience. Not only was it an effective cleaner, it doesn't dry out my beard or skin. I use it too wash my face, and it is actually the best facial soap I've used...which is saying alot since I've tried more than I can remember.Just buy it. It's worth it.Didn't even get a chance to use it, when the bar arrived I could smell it through the box. It's EXTREMELY overpowering and just smells like burnt wood.匂いがやばい。臭いです。私には、耐え難いです。バスルームがその匂いに染まってます。
