It's a good looking piece but flawed design. Size is very small. The design is such that you have to put a lot of pressure to pump soap out of it. If your hands are wet all the water will stay on top and then go into the soap making it loose consistency. Also the biggest flaw is the nozzle drips despite it saying otherwise. Highly disappointed. The pump is a little awkward to use because the dispenser doesn't stick out far enough, but it works fine otherwise.Bought two of these for my other bathrooms because I had bought one at a TJ MAXX prior to seeing them on here. They are great soap pumps for the price. You think the soap well is too small but once you fill it with soap it lasts quite a while, for me at least. Perhaps if you have a lot of traffic using it, you may have to fill it more times but that doesn’t bother me.I do think it could be made bigger, if they don’t already have a larger size, if not that would be something they should look into doing. It’s well made, sturdy and does a great job.Wish it also came in other colors but now I’m just nitpicking.Simple & modern, but not very easy to use. Need to push down with force to pump the soap out of the dispenser. Product feels sturdy and durable. Not easy to useThere were no instructions on how to open the top to put in the hand soap, so I pulled on it and hoped for the best. I was able to take the top off without breaking it! It doesn't dispense well. Only a little soap comes out using 2 pumps and even with holding your hand under the dispensing spot, it inevitably drips. I would not buy this again nor do I recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it.I liked the shape of it, but you need to press too hard to get the soap, plus it always drips on itself' although it is called non-drip. I do not recommend it.The concept of this dispenser is good, but the execution is poor.First of all, it's really difficult to find the sweet spot on top of the dispenser to enable the soap top come out.You have to press the top at the back so that it works. When the soap does eventually come out, you get pea size amount for each press, so this means that you have to press down a few times to get enough soap. The dispenser also drops a lot and leaves a messy trail down the front...not nice.My verdict - more style rather than substanceThe primary purpose of a soap dispenser is to … after 3, 1,2,3 — dispense soap! While the product looks the part, like a mild soap to non-sensitive skin, it is almost useless.Almost, but not quite. What lets this product down from being exceptional is the sweet spot of dispensation. You press the button at the top. Nothing. You press for a second time. A little soap dribbles out. Third time lucky? It slips away from you, much like the dream you had of a perfect hand wash.Jospeh Joseph is so good they mention their name twice. Their style and ergonomic solutions to everyday problems are world-class. Yet, with this release of this product, they have let everyone down.Perfectly aesthetic and compact but in my opinion that's as good as it gets. The push-down action of the pump is not the best by any stretch of the imagination, but that is not the worst thing. If you subscribe to the theory that you should wet your hands before applying soap, then you need to make sure that you shake all the excess water off your hand(s) before applying the soap as drops of water easily run down betwen the inside of the housing and the pump section. I presume that the 'O' ring seal is to stop water ingress into the soap reservoir, so you could simply turn it upside down to drain the water, but it does not. And before you know it, your thick, gloopy hand soap is very diluted and sprays everywhere. There is the possibility that I have a faulty unit and other reviews may confirm this or not. Solutions (if a poor design)? A better 'O' ring seal but this will also need some drainage holes within the body of the housing to channel away any accumulated water; a larger, domed and overhanging push button to direct water from getting in the pump in the first place. Or there is the option that you wet only one hand, using your dry hand to pump the soap, then wet the other hand before engaging in a chunky lather. But this does not prevent the issue of splashes from a tap getting in and do you think that the average child will remember that routine to accommodate a potentially poor design? I'm sure that there are both cheaper and more expensive designs out there that work - a lot of them are the standard dispensers you get from supermarkets. I for one will be getting a different dispenser and dispatching the JJ one to recycling (if applicable). If only I could have rated as no stars.UPDATE: Have filled it with alcohol hand-sanitiser and so far, with no possibility of water getting on the pump handle, it works very well. An alternative use because I was reluctant to just recycle it.Really annoyed because it's not as described and it's such a waste of my time returning products. I bought the JJ toothbrush holder last week which is great and bought the soap dispenser to match but no, the soap dispenser has the logo in grey on the front. In all the pictures on the Amazon advert and all the customers pictures there's no logo. On my toothbrush holder there's a white almost invisible logo but on my soap dispenser there it is in grey! Is it too much to ask for that I receive what is shown in the picture? Grrr! I will be returning it.I love this dispenser and it’s minimalist design. I have also purchased the soap dish and organisers as well. All together, it’s not cheap but the design and functionality is spot on. However..... extremely frustrated with the packaging glue. On each of these products the glue that attaches the cardboard is a nightmare to remove ( see pic) it leaves a residue. On the soap dish I bought, I unfortunately scratched it trying to scrub it off. But apart from that, I do like it.
