Spend a little more for a quality soap.Have .y cat a flea bath I'm it works vreaatExcelentecleans dishes and others things wells!Dawn is amazingly my favoriteThought it was biggerI have always washed my makeup brushes in liquid soap specifically made for makeup brushes- until I saw a beauty guru on YouTube washed her (synthetic) brushes in Dawn Liquid Dish Soap. Not only is Dawn at least half the cost, but you're getting 3x or more product AND helping save wildlife! I start out with a shallow container long enough to hold my brushes lengthwise, and deep enough to submerge them in water. (See picture.) I found a leftover Chinese food container is perfect for the job. I add 3-6 drops of Dawn (depending on how many brushes I am washing), my brushes, and then enough warm water to create a "bath" for my brushes. I only own synthetic brushes myself, so I am not sure how this would work on natural brushes. I make sure all of my brushes are faces with the bristles in the same direction, grab them all together, and gently swirl the bristles in the same direction repeatedly. Gently going back and forth also works if you are - again - being very gentle. This creates a nice amount of suds while also having the brushes pick up any leftover dish soap laying at the bottom of your container. I then individually pick up each brush and either use my fingers to really clean in between the bristles or I use my "Brush Egg" to help carefully get my brushes clean. After giving each brush individual care, I run warm water into the container er again until no dirt/suds remain, and for good measure run each brush under running water to be sure they are squeaky clean. This method has saved me so much time and money, and has been SO much gentler on my dry/cracked hands.I wish I had learned about this handy little trick sooner, and that my review helps someone!It bubbles goodThis is awesome “fairy up liquid”!! I initially brought this product to rid the fleas that had found a home and set up camp only new born kitties before they had treatment and WOW!! a tiny pea amount and a bit of water and they were dropping like flies in the winter!!Secondly my partners a chef and my sensitive nose can’t stand the smell of kitchens so a pea sized amount on the hands ??, then the hair and beard before shower! Gets rid of the grease and smell!I also squeezed about an inch into an empty bottle added water and clean my kitchen sides.A Prada jumper got covered in ribena we used DAWN a sponge and wahlaaaa it’s gone! Vanish what….Honestly £12 for an amazing product with multiple uses that you need to use minimal of!!! WINNERI had read various reports that said that this product (and no other washing up liquid) makes a great bathroom cleaner when mixed in equal measures with warm plain vinegar. I hate cleaning the bath and shower so I gave it a go. It’s fantastic. Cuts into any scummy residue very easily. Makes bathroom cleaning almost fun.I bought this product specifically as it is mentioned on bird rescue sites for cleaning birds unfortunately caught in oil slicks etc. The pigeon I found was not covered in oil but in some unknown tacky substance (which may have been pigeon gel used by pest control people). The pigeon was not able to fly as its wings were gummed together. When I first got it I washed it in ordinary washing up liquid, while Dawn was on order. This helped a bit but the bird still couldnt fly. I used the Dawn about four days after the first wash, and I wish I could save it miraculously dissolved the gel - but it didn't - however it helped a bit and the bird can now fly though it still feels sticky. (Please note that I am used to pigeons and their care - the pigeon was dried off under a special gentle heat device used for baby chicks without a mother ). I also tried the product for dishwashing. It is a nice colour, has a pleasant very light smell and feels good on the hands. I didn't feel it washed dishes any more effectively than my usual brand so therefore I am giving it 3 out of 5 stars for dishwashing.Can’t fault the product but it’s expensive and in my opinion no better than fairy liquid which is considerably cheaper.I purchased this as it was recommended in a natural cleaner article I read and I’m so happy with it. It is expensive for dish soap but that will be import tax etc so unavoidable. It doesn’t detract from how good this stuff is mixed with white vinegar and a natural oil of your choice ... good stuff
