Thought it was glasaIt is as pretty in person as it shows on the website. It looks great in my "beach" themed bathroom.Love it! I purchased two, one for the kitchen and the other for the bathroom.I would have given this 5 stars based on beauty alone, but after just a little over a month of use, the chrome finish is coming off and at the base of the pump the soap leaks out. Constantly cleaning it off. Haven't found not one dispenser where the soap doesn't leak out from somewhere.
