Soap base for soap crafting. Each pound of soap base produces four 4 oz. bars. Comes in resalable plastic tubs. This new Crystal ABS is a vegetable based Melt and Pour Soap base, made using natural, exotic shea butter and raw African black soap from Ghana. SLS and SLES-free, this soap base is super emollient, and soothes and cleanses your skin with this wonderful combination. Glycerin is a natural emollient, a by-product of soap making, which draws moisture out of humid air to benefit the skin. It cleanses without stripping or upsetting the delicate natural pH balance necessary for soft, healthy looking skin. Even with the use of rich botanic butters, our soap rinses clean and leaves no soapy film behind. All our soap bases are produced with high-quality raw materials to form a luxurious lather. Usage: A two-pound brick can make between 10 - 20 soaps, depending on the size of the soap you’re trying to make. We therefore recommend fully wrapping the soap bar as soon as it is poured, cooled and dry to minimize or eliminate any shrinkage.

Love the way it accepts scents and blends for a smooth pour and cureI really like the color and make of this melt and pour. It cuts out well and sets up quickly. I didn't add any color to this as I wanted the primitive, natural color and it did not disappoint. It looks beautiful in large, sharply cut edges, in my large bathroom with black accents. The soap makes my skin feel silky not dry like soap tends to do. It does not suds up a lot but I do use it to clean my make up brushes and it does the job quite well. I also use it on my ace which I never use soap but this is different, very moisturizing and cleansing. It certainly makes a statement for thee decor in your bathroom.The “ soap” is sticky and soft - it won’t set up as is and I haven’t even melted it yet - I need to return itI got this soap base Thursday June 9th! I’ve been sending messages to the seller!! And I’m being ignored!! I’m scared to death to use it!! Now I’ve got 2lbs of this cheap moldy soap base!! Stay clear!!! Don’t waste your money!! Please!!! Ps,, this product deserves NO stars!!!!Very dry and doesn’t lather well. Definitely not purchasing again.Great for a melt and pour but not as dark and course as regular ABS. I will buy again, because I like the melt and pour ease, but if you are looking for authentic African Black Soap be aware this is not it. ABS does not lend itself to melt and pour.The lather is creamy without being greasy or chemical-y and it smells great even without adding a scent. It is a caramel brown like in the picture, which limits the possible tint range, but well worth it. Takes powdered color well, melts well.This soap base is fantastic. I have used it twice as a base for a detox soap that I make. It's smooth and worth the price. Shipping is super pronto and it melts like a dream. Happy shopper here.
