Included in the kit Printed instructions (soaper and instructor), 5 ounces of lye (sodium hydroxide), base oils olive, coconut, and castor oils, scent and additive, basket, mold, PPE (glove, mask, apron, goggles), equipment (spatula, mixing bowl).
Takes less than 30 minutes. No measuring required (except for the water). You provide NOTHING (see description below). Optional items a second spatula or a stainless steel spoon and an immersion/stick blender.

I've made cold processed soaps but it's been a minute so I needed half the things. I ordered this to supplement what I already have because I'll be teaching one of my friends how to make soap. I have to say I'm impressed. I don't normally leave reviews unless the seller or product or exceptional.First, the laminated instruction card is clear, easy to follow and reusable! Pro tip: slide it between frame & silicon mold when not in use. Fits perfectly.Next, the safety equipment is decent. You absolutely need safety equipment. Wear it! I appreciate the clear instructions that you also need to protect your working surfaces. Lye will eat through most materials. I'm going to be teaching a friend how to make cold processed soaps-- and the safety information is great!The quality of the mold is fantastic! I own 5 other loaf molds but, the thickness of this one is really nice!The oils are good quality.What would be really nice is when this product is added to cart if it would also recommend a scale. Being able to accurately measure all your materials is key to making consistently good soaps and getting them to solidify and trace properly. I mentioned this because I was so excited to be going back to cold processing after over a decade of melt and pour-- I forgot to add a scale!If you're going to be doing this more than once, grab a scale! It makes life so much easier.
